multi-national processors producer, to improve the management of projects processes. Significantly shortened the
proceeding time for projects, such as a local marketing campaign, local I-café campaign and decoration marketing
exposure projects. Responsible for completely changing processes from an e-mail approval system to on-line
management.
Operated management for the maintenance of the Channel Department Central Warehouse in Beijing, including
budgeting, receiving and dispatching, quality and quantity control of the marketing sales tools. Managed the
transportation delivery from central warehouse to channel marketing representatives nationwide. Enhanced on-time
delivery rate to 95%.
Coordinated with Sales Department for a solution provider incentive program once a quarter to decide the rebate rate
to incentive Premium/ Golden/ Silver Solution Providers and other AMD retailers. Achieved a higher sales rate of PIB
products (the only authorized products which can be sold in mainland China), first recommendation rate for top-tier
products, and enhancement exposure of AMD flyers in IT Malls from 50% to 70% in the year 2007-2008.
Led nationwide local marketing campaign project ($300,000 per quarter). Completed the whole process from vendors
bidding, price negotiation to finalization which reduced the vendor service cost, improved service quality and extended
pay-off period which led to an increased financing timeline for AMD finance.
Analyzed weekly reports including marketing status of AMD and competitors’ as well as I-café purchasing status from
76 representatives and reported to Marketing Director.
PROJECTS:
• Real-time Metric Transportation System Development :Whirlpool
Developed a real-time software metric reporting system using Microsoft Access to measure on-time performance
of truck deliveries from the plant to the warehouses. Tracked utilization of the daily movements, and generated
reports to show real time schedule adherence and asset utilization for management.
• Distribution Center Facility Planning: Tween Brands
Planned a Distribution Center in the western U.S. to consolidate containers from international suppliers and to
prepare for the DC bypass operation. Simulation software (Arena) was used to analyze the 5-year cost-saving
strategy. Drafted Distribution Center plan.
