Responsible for providing professional services to the university community
by coordinating revenue production for Foy Student Union in areas of the
Camp War Eagle Business Fair, Expo at the Union, Tiger Stop Sales and
Assessment reports as requested. Directly responsible for planning all
aspects of revenue producing programs. Responsible for all aspects of the
Reservations Department in Foy Student Union to include: supervision of the
Reservations Facilitator, maintaining and updating the EMS Enterprise
scheduling program, and processing client billing on the Banner system.
Maintaining liaisons with outside contacts and vendors in addition to
providing and implementing marketing strategies regarding reservations and
customer service at Foy Student Union. Teaching, training and implementing
customer service program for all employees. Coordinator for the James E Foy
Information Desk (information call center) to include: training and
scheduling fifty or more student employees each semester, training those
students in telephone etiquette and internet research. The Information Desk
has been featured in Oprah's magazine and on the Today Show with Matt Lower
as one of the top ten phone numbers everyone should have in their cell
phone. Assist in management and daily operations for the student center to
include policies for building usage for the general public.

Responsible for coordinating, planning and scheduling events for all
university student groups, departments, and off-campus clients. Responsible
for the reservation's computer program EMS Enterprise conference scheduling
system. Responsible for conference and meeting room setups to include
equipment and audio-visual assistance. Other key responsibilities included:
providing direct administrative support to conferences, demonstrating
strong interpersonal skills by determining conference needs and necessary
paper work to facilitate those conference, and all reservation billing
procedures.

Security responsibilities included: emergency notification of building
security breaches, maintaining a police log of daily activities,
maintaining compliance for Auburn University Department of Public Safety,
acting as a liaison between local police units, emergency transport and
local fire departments. Investigated past criminal behavior of suspects
using information accessed from the National Crime Information Center
(NCIC), and the Alabama Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS). NCIC
and ACJIS Certified. Received 911 and other emergency telephone calls,
dispatched police officers to emergency and non-emergency situations,
operated TDD device (for the hearing impaired) and operated multi-line
telephone system.
