While working in Palm Springs at the cancer center, I helped to train over 128 staff

members, work on build, go-live implementation, as well as sustainment training. This

included teaching staff how to access and input patient care notes, treatment plans, etc., as

well as trouble shoot, design and build the system.

AHLTA Transition Support Trainer/Implementation (DOD Electronic Health Record

Present

While working at Travis AFB, I have helped to train over 650 staff members, created over 70

templates using the DOD’s electronic health record software, and trouble-shot over 40 major

issues to help with utilization of AHLTA. I have received superior remarks in my teaching

style and for making my classes fun, while the students are learning. I have gone even more

extensively into their training than required, by teaching them trouble shooting for some

instances, and teaching their clinic LAN managers trouble shooting techniques.

I have implemented the Super-User program with great success, and have trained several

Super-Users to be more effective in their use of AHLTA for training and trouble-shooting

issues. While being here, AHLTA utilization has increased over 12% and is still increasing.
