disciplinary issues for the firm either through the grievance process or
mediation. In my previous capacity I was responsible for terminating

NCLB Compliance Officer (Interim)
As the (Interim) Compliance Officer for No Child Left Behind (NCLB) for
Atlanta Public Schools, I assume the field-based leadership in assisting
Title I schools with coordination between Title I programs and regular
program. In this capacity it was my responsibility to ensure the District
remain in compliance with the standards and procedures of the federally
mandated NCLB programs.

Human Resource / Operations Manager
I served in the dual capacity of Human Resources and Operations Manager for
a Security Personnel firm. In this capacity I advised the firm's
President and Vice President relative to organizational development and
various human resources issues including but not limited to Performance
Management, Employee Relations, Staffing, Recruitment, and Training. In
this capacity, I also managed a regional staff of approximately 800
employees.
o Organizational Development: Upon my engagement with this firm, I was
tasked with reviewing the organizational structure and to provide
recommendations as to how this company could be realigned to ensure
greater efficiency. In addition, my task was to ensure that efficient
human resources policies, procedures and practices were in place. To
meet these objectives, I conducted a detail analysis of the current
organizational structure and recommended various policies and
guidelines that strengthened performance management, produced an
effective Recruitment Program that fostered diversity, established
Employee Relations policies, instituted Equal Employment Opportunity
Regulations, and a Training Program that enhanced productivity.
o Training Management: I served as lead instructor for all Human
resource disciplines. In addition, I developed and directed the needs
assessment for training and staff development and aligned all training
to the mission and goals of the firm. I wrote, and developed strategic
training plans for employees and management. The strategic plans
include courses in Performance Management, Sexual Harassment, Workers
Compensation, Sensitivity Training, and Managerial Leadership.
o Recruiting: I managed the recruiting process for the firm. In
developing a strategic plan for the recruitment process, I developed
creative ways and forums for recruitment. I attended Job fairs,
established relationships with various entities including schools and
universities, state and federal governments, in an effort to target a
large pool of candidates. I also wrote and placed advertisements
company wide, in newspapers, magazines and on the internet in order to
create new ways to attract quality candidates to the organization.
Within the 3 years I served in this capacity, the register of
qualified candidates increased significantly.
o Staffing: I was responsible for the tracking, and screening of
candidates responding to job inquiries. This task included developing
needs assessments for each desired position, developing criteria for
evaluation of candidates, and writing all job announcements. In this
capacity, I interviewed candidates and made recommendations to the
President and Vice President of the firm. I also maintained a current
and active registry of qualified candidates for the organization.
o Project Manager: I traveled to various sites to open new offices
within the United States. Served as HR lead for new branches of
operations. I was responsible for recruitment, staffing, and training
for all employees at the new Branches.

I Implemented front line security screening processes to assure the safety
