for the Common Metrics and Tools Group. Quality Engineer responsibility
for creating and reporting availability metrics that evaluated the
performance of Cellular Infrastructure Products.
. Participated in early Supplier Involvement by developing the Quality Plan
(Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Regulatory Compliance Testing,
Accelerated Life Testing, Design Verification Testing, Gauge R & R), for
a third party wireless designed subscriber Dongle for WiMAX for a New
Product Introduction.
. Led the development of the WiMAX Datamart and the completion of the
required metrics / reports including the auto generation of Executive
Summary Reports saving over 1000 labor hours annually.
. Designed the Availability Webpage that includes 5 Nines Availability
Reporting, and a user defined analysis option to allow for drilldown of
outage data required for identifying systemic product issues across many
customers and global markets.
. Developed 5 - Nines Monthly Availability Metrics that provides product
and customer specific reporting that led to customer quality improvement
with Alltel, Sprint, and Verizon.
. Led and successfully passed yearly TL9000 audit for System Outage /
System Outage Network Elements (SO / SONE) metric by Motorola Corporate
and Keuring Electrotechnisch Materieel Arnhem (KEMA) in order for the
Networks Enterprise Division to remain TL9000 certified.
Third Party Supplier Quality Engineer/ Senior Quality Engineer, CDMA
Networks 1999 - 2005

and long term corrective action for returned units from customer.
. Six Sigma Green Belt Certification / Projects - Received Green Belt
Certification in Dec '03 after completion of 4 projects that led to
savings of greater than $200K. Each project led to process and quality
improvement in hardware design in the Automatic Insertion Factory.
. Led the implementation of monthly metrics which identified Best in Class
Quality suppliers by bringing visibility to our supplier's performance in
the form of a Supplier Scorecard, which reduced field returns by 40%.

connectors to PCB's allowing product to flow on assembly line vs. a
manual offline process saving over $300K annually.
. Led capacity analysis studies to determine appropriate capital equipment
expenditure for the Automatic Insertion Factory, which reduced budgeted
requirements by $550K.
. Co-Authored with the Product Improvement Team that presented the "Solder
Mask n-Line System" at the Phoenix Advanced Manufacturing Technology
(AMT) Symposium in 1992, which automated the insertion of electrical
