I am responsible for filing property tax returns, reviewing
notices of value, initiating appeals and negotiating values. I
am also responsible for handling the personal property tax
audits for the returns that I currently file, presently focused
in California, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee. During the
return preparation, my responsibilities include reviewing the
fixed asset ledger details and contacting the various managers
to confirm spending amounts and location of asset additions.

Since the 1999 merger with AT&T, my responsibilities increased
to include supervision of two property tax analysts, and I was
ultimately responsible for all compliance functions in the
property tax group. Additionally, I worked extensively in
the Access Database to increase the efficiency of our
compliance function. During 2000, our group changed to new
property tax software, in which I was an integral part of the
implementation.
I was responsible for reviewing all notices of values for
personal property, possessory interest and real estate in
the specific states listed in the paragraph below.
Additionally, I initiated appeals and negotiated values within
those states. Also, I had extensive experience working on the
personal property audits, especially in California.
Throughout my years at AT&T Broadband, LLC (formerly:
Tele-Communications, Inc.), I obtained experience in filing
personal property renditions in approximately 30 states. I was
responsible for broadband issues, including budget preparation,
in these specific states: California, Georgia, Kansas,
Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Utah.
I also filed centrally assessed returns in the following
states: California, Idaho, Kentucky, Maryland, Montana, Nevada,
New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Wyoming. My work included
reviewing the appraiser's workpapers, filing appeals and
negotiating values for those sate returns.
Senior Property Tax Analyst/Property Tax Analyst/Tax Accountant
Prepared property tax returns for cable systems in numerous
states. Tracked tax bills, assisted with audits and
appeals for both personal property and possessory interest.
Worked the filing season in all groups of the tax department:
federal, state, and property taxes. Responsible for Annual
