. Thermal and mechanical design of air coolers, cryogenic heat

exchangers for propane spiking, and other heat transfer equipment.

. Equipment layouting, piping and detailed layout enveloping of

critical air coolers involving 100 to 120 bays with PD&P.

steel structure in modules for methane, ethylene and propane units.

. Detalied designing and understanding of modularization of air cooers

to job site. This involves coordination between the modularization

sub-supplier in Thailand, Malaysia, air cooler supplier in Italy

with other disciplines like electrical, piping and control systems.

. HAZOP, HAZID, SIS, MSG and PFD review for block 1, 2 and 3 systems.

. Client meeting and GAP analysis involving technilogy specification

and mechanical specification. Identifying gaps and resolving the

issue within the deliverable timeframe.

. Study of Noise level analysis with the 3rd party inspection team in

conjunction with Australian Code requirement and Enviornmental

regulatory comitte in Australia.

GLNG Queensland, Australia (Feed) - 3.4 MTPA (Train 1)

. Off-project support which include monitoring schedule changes,

DRN's, Internal audits for project engineering and mechanical

equipments.

. PFD's and P&ID's comment resolution with client and suppliers.

DUKE-IGCC, Indiana - 630 MW IGCC Plant

. Designed and bought Sulfur Condenser for Sulfur Recovery Unit for 3

trains. Daily responsibility included working with suppliers and

different disciplines within engineering to finalize the design,

layout and other issues during construction.

. Designed and bought other alloyed heat exchanger.

. Designing Shell and Tube Heat exchanger in conjunction with GE process

systems for 9 very critical alloy heat exchangers.

. Working with UOP in designing Packinox heat exchanger. The exchanger

is 55 ft tall and has 550 SS plates.

. Design review, 30%, 60% and 90% Model review and vendor print review

for all heat exchangers and thermal design systems.

. Technical evaluation of suppliers, supplier bid clarification,

performance testing, and pre-fab meeting.

. Working with process systems in finalizing the P&ID and HMB for the

gasification plant.

Mechanical Engineer III, Black & Veatch, Overland Park, KS ( 04/2004 -

08/2008)

. Designed 1st & 2nd pass Sulfur Condenser for 3x625 ltpd Sulfur

Recovery Unit (CBA) and Quench, Lean air cooler for 2025 ltpd Tail Gas

Unit for Reliance Petroleum Ltd., India. Expedited the delivery on

heat exchangers with suppliers in India and Seoul to meet the

scheduled project deliverables.

. Evaluated and redesigned existing shell and tube heat exchangers (U-

tube) using HTRI, COMPRESS for 12 MMscfd LNG Storage Facility at

Glenmavis, Scotland.

. Applied geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of tubes, tubesheets

operating at an external pressure of 1500 PSI for hydrogenation

reactors as per ASME Sec VIII, Div 1.

. Developed FEA models for analyzing localized stress for strength

welded, j-grooved and light rolled fixed tubesheet exchangers under

axial and live loads as per ASME.

. Design of 4x2, 170 MM Btu/hr plate and fin heat exchanger for water-

sea water service for Mexico's CFE Federal Electricity Commission.

. Worked with Chinese Design Institute for designing and evaluating heat

exchangers for a 2 x 35 Nm3/D SRU Natural Gas Treating Plant in

Sichuan Province, China.

. Lead Design engineer for the N2 plant for 1.3 BSCFD LNG Regasification

Terminal, Costa Azul.

. Stripper units (H2S) material selection for exchangers using NACE

0103.

. Field inspection of aluminizing process for the channels, tubesheet

for the 1st and 2nd pass sulfur condensers.

. Field support and engineering support for AEP Ohio Power plant

involving FRP Pipe for FGD Scrubbers. This assignment lasted for 6

months.

. Sempra LNG construction support for LNG Downstream 1.0 billion cubic

feet per day (Bcf/d) during construction for 8 months.

. Shop expediting and field support for header box wrapage for air

coolers, ensuring the deliverables met the client's specification for

1.9x106 Nm3/d Gas Processing plant up at. at. Austria.
