Payroll Manager duties includes processing payroll for over 80 employees.
Maintains withholding taxes and all deductions including benefits and 401K.
I manage all recruiting and new hires working with staffing agencies
ensuring employees of company's policies & procedures. Responsible for
processing new hire paperwork including drug testing, and any physicals
needed. I enter all daily production tickets for all shifts, which
calculates a bonus entered on payroll weekly. I also pay out monthly
garnishments and do all payroll taxes and filings. Some other duties
include verifying employment, Workers Comp, OSHA log, I-9's, bank deposits,
and unemployment, also I manage the office in the absent of my superior.
Other duties that I handle is invoicing of product going out to our
customers including Bill of lading. With in my first year with Melsur my
position were accounts payable, which included handling and communicating
with all vendors, entering invoices, posting, writing and voiding checks.
Also I handle W-9's, tax-exempt certificates and all equipment leases with
several vendors. Keeping vendor files and systems updated.
