District Manager - Zumiez (Action Sports Retailer) 2002 - Current
As District Manager, assist with the implementation of Zumiez' national
business plan, strategies and initiatives as well as provide leadership and
development to 12 retail stores. This includes direct supervision of 48
store managers and assistants along with 240 employees, which spans the
three states of WI, MN, and IL and produces 16 million in annual revenue.
Prioritize staff development to maximize both short and long term goals.
Results:
Area Manager - Zumiez
1999 - 2002
Responsible for staff development and training of 12 assistant managers and
60 employees within three stores
Results:
. Led and promoted successful grand opening of two new locations
. Impacted comp store sales in my area by over 20%
