• Oversaw daily activities of seven employees
• Provided project management expertise for the development of a line of economical, easy to install elevators
that would be ordered through the website. I followed this product through from design to testing.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of Pro/ENGINEER software to support MEI’s sales
driven engineering and production solution using parametric technology. This was my senior design project for
my Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
• Developed curriculum to teach Pro/ENGINEER product lines including Wildfire, Sheet Metal, Production
Drawing, Advanced Assembly Management, Advanced Part Design. This responsibility was a result of a
$215,000 State of Minnesota Economic Development Grant for Small Industries, which I helped to apply for
and implement.
• Responsible for the development of software to support MEI internal processes such as quoting, configuration,
automated drafting, file management, and interface to ERP. Also worked on the integration of these processes
into a single, seamless flow of information.
• Chairman of Quoting Software Development Team, responsible to comply with the “Desired Results” designed
by Desired Results Development Group. Team consists of people from all departments working together to
accomplish this goal.
• Develop training curriculum and schedule to implement new quoting software.
• As CADD administrator, responsible for all company design and drafting related issues. This includes capital
budget management, training and support (including curriculum design), customization, design and drafting
automation, and user group meetings to improve efficiency. AutoDesk applications used include Pro/Engineer
Wildfire, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Mechanical Desktop.
