Over twelve years of sales and sales management experience combined
with an intimate knowledge of recruiting in the high tech industry.
Extensive record of successful implementation and teaching of one call
closing techniques applied to the recruiting industry combined with a
passion for sales metrics and business development.
With a background in special operations and military intelligence I
gained experience briefing commanders, including Stanley McChrystal, who
was the commander of the 2nd Ranger Battalion, on enemy situation. After
an honorable discharge from the Army I used those presentation skills to
begin my love affair with the sales process.
At Celebrity Prime Foods I was exposed to the one call close and
implemented what I had learned briefing Colonels and Generals to become one
of the top closers in the company. The last year I was on the road I
achieved a 92% closing percentage and was made one the youngest sales
managers in the history of Celebrity Prime Foods. The first year I managed
the San Diego office I increased sales by over 750,000 and increased the
size of the sales force by a factor of four.
After taking a year sabbatical I was again drawn back in to the world
of sales and began my career in high-tech recruiting, easily translating
the principles of sales and sales management to become the Technical Team
Lead where I led my three person team to bill 980,000 in my last year.
Confident I would be successful running my own shop I decided to leave
Stafftopia, and after honoring the one year non-compete clause I signed, I
opened my recruiting firm, Captoris, in March of 2007.

Recruiting is a sales role. By applying sales techniques and metrics to
the process of recruiting I have been able to develop a substantial book of
business. Through management of hiring managers, the VP's of Engineering,
CTO's, and in some cases CEO's, of small to mid sized companies I
established Captoris in the recruiting market.
