A national nonprofit organization serving children and adults
affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The Foundation funds
research and provides education for patients and health care
professionals, as well as support for patients. Foundation budget exceeds
$45 Million for 2009.

Work closely with Board and committee members to develop and
implement fundraising, membership, and educational programs to meet
chapter goals. Develop and implement annual work plans, including
fundraising, medical and lay education programs, support services,
volunteer recruitment, and leadership development. Work collaboratively
with chapter Board of Directors to develop annual budgets. Develop and
supervise staff, including performance / salary reviews; ensure all
employment laws followed. Obtain individual, corporate, and foundation
support. Recruit and train board members and volunteers.
< Built networks with medical professionals to assure quality of
content, timeliness, and unbiased presentation of information for lay

training, therapy, and case management services for 70 adults on a daily
basis, and specializes in building adaptive equipment to improve
individual performance and earnings.
