fulfillment, and manufacturing. Academically I have earned a bachelor degree in management

and have studied leadership at the graduate level. Continuous improvement has always been a

Professional Experience

Technicolor HES, Livonia, MI 1990 - 2008

Technicolor's Home Entertainment Services division is the world’s largest manufacturer and

distributor of DVD, Blu-ray Disc and CD, with an annual capacity of 2.1 billion units per year.

Manager of Quality & Continuous Improvement 2007 - 2008

Managed the Quality Assurance group for the Michigan operation. The group consisted of 1

manager, 2 supervisors and 14 quality auditors that were assigned between multiple sites in the

operation. Primary responsibilities consisted of the management of the quality management

system inclusive of document control, development of the internal audit schedule, and working

with all areas of the organization on continuous improvement initiatives.

• Developed, implemented, and sustained an internal audit process for the organization.

Internal audits were determined through KPI reports, and customer or corporate request.

• Improved the formal corrective action system utilizing a 7 step problem solving process

to ensure root cause determination.

• Key team member providing leadership to a $5mm automation project for distribution

replenishment which completed on time and within budget.

Manager of Warehouse & Custom Packaging Operations 2000 - 2007

Managed a 3 shift operation providing leadership to 650+ employees that were assigned to the

custom packaging, returns processing, and warehousing operation which supported distribution in

the order fulfillment process. Responsibilities included staffing, labor reporting, production

scheduling, the management of operational and capital expense budgets, and employee

development through continuous improvement and EH&S initiatives.

• Successfully managed a $20mm/yr operational expense budget.

• Embedded lean rules and principles in the organization resulting in a reduction of:

o Client complaints (33%)

o Indirect labor expense (15%)

o Direct labor expense (13%)

o Material expense (20%)

• Led a team comprised of 1 process engineer, 2 Team Leads, and 6 material handlers in

the development of a returns processing area within a 30 day period, utilizing 68

employee suggestions and existing equipment.

• Embedded a leadership training program for team leads in the organization resulting in a

50% fill rate of in house candidates for supervisory positions.

• Worked 2 million man hours with zero lost time accidents

Warehouse Manager 1998 - 2000

Managed a two shift operation, providing leadership to 40 inventory control employees that were

responsible for the kitting of packaging work orders, flow rack replenishment, and fulfilling

LTL/Full Truck Load sales orders.

Packaging Manager 1993 - 1998

Managed a two shift operation providing leadership to 400+ employees that were assigned to the

packaging department. Responsibilities included all activities associated with the packaging of

videocassettes, the procurement of materials, staffing, production scheduling, and the

management of the operational budget.
