Plant Controller Olive Branch, MS
2003 - Present
Successfully managed day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting
functions for a large, complex manufacturing plant and two distribution
centers (1.2 million sq ft), with direct accountability for strategic cost
management, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, payroll for 200+
employees, production reporting, payables, inventory, variance analysis, GL
closing, financial statement analysis and reporting activities.
. Developed and implemented weekly P&L system to manage costs that helped
us to achieve the lowest cost/unit in our site's history contributing
to us winning many accolades including Team of the Year and Site of the
Year.
. Key member in Six Sigma and continuous improvement team which saved
