- Successfully implemented system wide brand and product shift, introducing
the "Rayovac" brand through two suppliers and 350 store locations. New
line incorporated new products to enhance market share in the commercial
and heavy equipment markets.
- Achieved an est. $1.2M bottom line improvement through program, product
enhancements and pricing concessions with extensive negotiations between
the primary SLI vendors.
- Successfully negotiated major product promotions, allowing retail stores
the opportunity to seasonally stock at a lower price, enhancing their
retail and commercial margins. This also includes program adjustments
moving products away from the base warehouse into a direct-from-vendor
mode, saving both BP and the vendors in warehousing and program costs.
- Developed a "Key Account" program, allowing Batteries Plus LLC the
ability to establish a supplier direct National Account Program. This
