Established in 1982, Kitchen Solvers is a full-service kitchen and bath

remodeling franchise company. Kitchen Solvers has more than 70

independently owned franchise outlets located throughout the United States

and Canada. The company has been recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as

one of America's top 300 franchise systems. Qualified Remodeler magazine

ranked Kitchen Solvers ninth in its Top 500 Remodeling Firms edition.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

. Oversee the provision of more than 30 marketing related support programs

to more than 70 Kitchen Solvers franchise outlets.

. Plan and implement all start-up marketing initiatives for new franchisees

including the development of a comprehensive start-up marketing plan.

. Direct ongoing research, development, and system-wide launch strategies

for newly introduced marketing support services.

. Responsible for all aspects of the Kitchen Solvers national advertising

program, including annual budget development and system-wide

implementation. Individual components of national advertising consists

of Search Engine Optimization, national on-line lead generation, national

and local public relations outreach, all corporate branding initiatives,

website development, and franchisee-end user customer referral

strategies.

. Create systems wide strategic based annual marketing plan to support

franchisees local marketing efforts. The annual marketing plan includes

consumer research (demographic profiling), individualized retail ad

campaigns, and the provision of all advertising collateral materials.

. Manage all aspects of Kitchen Solvers re-branding/repositioning strategic

planning and development initiatives. This includes overseeing and

supporting national DIREXXIS consumer profile study, conducting franchise

system-wide SWOT survey, supervising creative and graphics design, review

and approval of all copy writing, and the development of a system-wide

franchisee launch.

. Manage internal marketing studies via two and four year marketing surveys

administered to all franchisees. Survey protocol consists of compiling

and organizing data, analyzing results, and presenting conclusions and

market related recommendations.

. Supervise all print and electronic creative, design, scripting and

production work.

. Provide franchisees with advertising planning and buying services.

. Direct and work in cooperation with all national Kitchen Solvers

marketing outsourced suppliers including partnerships with national

marketing and advertising agencies, public relation firms, corporate

apparel and specialty advertising providers, internet and directory based

Yellow Pages, and building fa ade, vehicle, and display signage

companies.

. Oversee content management and writing for all marketing-related

franchisee operational manuals and end-user marketing collateral.

. Manage corporate based fulfillment program for all print materials and

specialty advertising items.

. Support and work in collaboration with vice president of business

development in recruiting prospective franchise investors.

. Direct and administer all aspects of our current website re-development

effort including graphic design/branding of the homepage, content

management, development of the "sales funnel", site optimization, and

establishing protocols for online lead qualification processes.

. Active participant in ongoing re-development of the Kitchen Solvers

business model. This includes analysis, evaluation, and offering

recommendations for the four major operational components of the Kitchen

Solvers franchise system.

Vice President of Marketing: La Crosse Catbirds, Ltd., La Crosse, WI. July

1985 to July 1993

LA CROSSE CATBIRDS, LTD

A franchise of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), the Catbirds

relocated from Louisville, KY to La Crosse, WI in July of 1985. During my

eight year tenure with the club, the franchise set 4 consecutive season

attendance records, led the league in attendance 7 seasons and was awarded

two Franchise of the Year awards. The Catbirds were considered the premier

franchise in the league, not only by league management but by National

Basketball Association management as well. The team hosted two CBA All

Star games, was featured on ESPN several times, and was recognized by

numerous national publications including the New York and

Los Angeles Times.

. Responsible for season and group ticket sales, negotiating and selling

corporate sponsorships, in-arena advertising, and community public

relations.

. Directed all aspects of game promotions/entertainment and game

production.

. Develop comprehensive and strategic annual marketing and promotional

plans.

. Represented ownership group during high-level league owner meetings and

conferences.

. Worked with outsourced advertising and production agency in ad (print &

electronic) creative, design, and media buying and placement.

. Represented ownership group in negotiations with facility (La Crosse

Civic Center) management in leasing, ticket and concession sales.

. Negotiated television and radio broadcast rights/agreements.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

. Past president & chair, La Crosse City Vision Foundation. The La Crosse

City Vision Foundation is a 501 c 3 organization that supports the

funding of special projects for downtown La Crosse through its endowment.

The "A Gift of Time & Timeless Gift" Main Street Plaza clock and

Riverside Park "A Simpler Time" sculptures are two of the most recent

projects completed.

. Board of director & Organization Committee chair, Downtown Mainstreet,

Inc. Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. is a non-profit organization that

oversees revitalization efforts for the central business district of La

Crosse, WI. Its primary responsibilities include new business

recruitment, lender commitment program, maintenance and beautification,

and implementation of its City Vision 2020 Master Plan. As Organization

Committee chair I oversee bylaws review, the board of director

nominations process, and hosting the annual board of director elections.

. Co-chair, Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. branding committee. The branding

committee is responsible for the development and implementation of a

comprehensive branding initiative for Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. and the

central business district of La Crosse, WI.

. Chair, Economic Forum subcommittee, La Crosse Area Development

Corporation. Since 1986, this subcommittee has hosted semi-annual forums

that address important economic issues affecting the greater La Crosse

area.

. Graduate, Greater La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce leadership program.

Core curriculum based on teaching effective leadership and management

practices within the workplace.

. Classroom Consultant, Junior Achievement of the Coulee Region. Teach the

Junior Achievement program curriculum to 3rd grade students at Franklin

Elementary School, La Crosse, WI.

. Past member board of director, Junior Achievement of the Coulee Region.

Primary responsibility included fund raising, instruction, and program

delivery.

. Past member University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Community Relations

committee. A "liaison" committee that facilitated an open exchange of
