CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OCTOBER 2007 – MAY 2009

Related Group of South Florida Bal Harbour, FL

St. Regis Hotel & Residences - $500 Million Project:

Managed project in conjunction with the owner of Starwood, responsible for reviewing and signing off on monthly pay

applications, hands-on approach with General Contractor and Sub Contractors, observed, implemented and enforced

numerous solutions to save company time and money utilizing 25 years as a carpenter with hands-on experience in the

field, from concrete to drywall to block, responsible for the three towers as well as the complete site. Enforced use of

materials specified in drawings and contract documents as well as purchased for the project.

Reviewed and handled all Change Orders as well as making sure what was contracted was qualified correctly before we

signed the contract. Handled all RFI's and document changes to quantify as well as qualify any changes to the contract.

Attended all weekly subcontractor meetings as well as owners, development manager and contractors/MEP meetings as

well as all MEP coordination of meetings. Protected the owner from unseen risk and change orders.

Was responsible for the strictest quality control for this project.

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT OCTOBER 2005 – OCTOBER 2007

Apogee Project - $120 Million Project:

Oversee the building of a high end, luxury condominium in south Florida. 67 individual custom units. Supervise the

entire staff and field along with the project manager. Set up site logistics, cranes, hoist’s, all underground work as well as

subcontractors.

Quality control as well as scheduling all trades from block to glass to stucco.

In charge of all interior finishes with a hands on approach. Laid out all units, cabinets, light fixtures, linear diffusers as

well as all appliances.

Monthly pay applications reviewed and either cut or agreed on amounts.

Hands on with all city inspectors as well as the fire department.

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT OCTOBER 2003 – OCTOBER 2005

Gulf Bay Group Companies Naples, FL

Oversee the building of multiple and multi-family luxury homes ranging from 8,000 sq. ft. to 25,000 sq. ft. Supervise

entire staff. Took the project from the ground to turn key.

Executed all schedules for subcontractors and updated as needed. Responsible for ordering all materials as well as

cabinets and counter tops, interior finishes to turn key.

Responsible for quality control for no punch at owners walk thru.

SUPERINTENDENT JULY 2002 – OCTOBER 2004

Oversee the build-out and supervision of trades on numerous projects that included:

Sunrise Development Assisted Living. $30 million project.

Geneva Illinois Waste Treatment Facility. $40 million project.

Monroe Middle School. $25 million project.

New Volkswagen Dealership. $20 million project in progress.

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT MAY 2000 – JULY 2002

Key projects included:

2 East Erie: a John Buck, Chicago District Council, 40-story, mixed use, architectural concrete building,

$55 million project.

Riverview Phase II: MCL Corporation, a 34-story luxury hi-rise condo, $110 million project.

Morgan Stanley Dean Witter: Design/Build, 5 building, multi-use office complex, $300 million project.

Provide overall on-site administration and technical management through planning, coordination, and supervision of craft

employees and trade contractors to ensure the project is constructed in a safe and organized manner that was in accordance

with design, budget, schedule and quality. Prepared work sequencing schedules and kept personnel updated as to changes.

Scheduled and expedited the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites. Coordinated, directed, and monitored the

activities of all trades and suppliers. Insured all necessary permits for construction purposes were obtained. Coordinated

on-site audits with inspection agencies as necessary. Handled job labor relations and maintained EEO compliance.

Established and maintained good safety and security standards. Performed all necessary field change orders. Conducted

final walk through on completed projects. Analyzed project to determine the optimum approach to ensure completeness of

estimate. Determined approximate estimating time and manpower needed. Communicated with Management to ensure

methods for activities such as cranes and helicopter lifts, shutdowns, and start-up, and material receiving. Advised senior
