Self Employed - April 2006 - Present
I am the part owner of a concrete/contracting company working in North
and South Carolina. I oversee and I am responsible for marketing, sales
and the negotiation of all contracts and change orders. I personally
handle all accounts payable and receivable and helped developed the
company safety program. I supervise 2 supervisors and 14 employees.
Americas Home Place, Inc. - Florence, South Carolina March 2005 -
April 2006
I was the regional manager for a national home builder in the Florence,
SC. I was responsible for developing and managing of all marketing,
sales, warranty and construction for two separate offices. I was
heavily involved in all aspects of the business but with great attention
on the P&L, the company safety program, motivation and growth of our
employees and future growth of the business in my market. I supervised
2 superintendents, a salesman, 2 office coordinators and helped the
superintendents manage the sub base required to complete the
construction of our homes.

I was the owner operator of a 2-3 million dollar a year
commercial/residential contracting firm. I personally oversaw and was
involved in all phases of construction from marketing and estimating,
job costing and scheduling, to completion of construction. I personally
took care of all payroll, subcontractor payables, the company safety
program, and owner billings.

I was the only project manager supervising all of the
commercial/industrial projects totaling 30 million dollars. 75% of the
projects were design build. I was also responsible for writing all
subcontracts, negotiating with owners, architects and subcontractors,
supervising, scheduling labor and ordering material for 10
superintendents, accounts payable and receivable approval, owner and
subcontractor change orders, light estimating, monthly billings,
generating job condition statements and schedules.

I was the only project manager for a 10 million dollar a year general
contractor. Responsibilities included writing all contracts with
owners, architects, and subcontractors, approved all accounts payable,
monthly billings to owners, writing change orders to owners and
subcontractors, generating job condition statements, and schedules,
estimating, obtaining permits and supervising/scheduling job
superintendents.

April 1998
I started as a laborer in June of 1990 during school breaks. After
college I quickly worked my way from carpenter, to assistant
superintendent, to superintendent, to general superintendent/field
project manager. Duties started as taking orders from the foreman, to
eventually being responsible for all reports, employees, safety program,
equipment, subcontractors and managing of money for each project I was
assigned and constructed.
