Work Experience

May 1st 2008 to present:

Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co, Fairfield IA. I was hired on a contract basis as

Cost Reduction Manager. The goal set was to reduce annualized costs by

$240,000, and I had until the end of July to meet this goal. I was hired full

time on June 30th, as I had helped to generate an annualized savings of

$410,000.

May 1991 to September, 2007

Barker Wire Products, Keosauqua, IA. Decrease in sales due to international

competition caused downsizing and loss of jobs. I was hired as Production

Manager and promoted to Production/Quality Manager. I was responsible for

establishing weekly production schedules for over 60 staff in all departments. I

maintained records of inventory and prepared reports for monthly management

meetings. I audited manufacturing processes and procedures. I had the

responsibility for monitoring, graphing and reporting all quality, scrap and waste

costs each month. When I began, scrap was over 4.5% and we had averaged under

2% my last 2 years of employment. My time, methods and process flow studies

helped save the company money by reducing material handling and increasing

production.

My experiences also include human resource as I interviewed and hired all hourly

employee. I also have proven experience in inside sales and customer service and

have done and will continue to do whatever is needed to make my organization

successful.

March 1979 to May 1991

Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co., Fairfield IA. Left Falco to go to Barker Wire. I

wore many different hats during my employment at Falco. Some of those

included Industrial Engineering Mgr, Finishing Supervisor, Quality and Technical

Services Manager, Quoting and inside sales.
