Dear Sir or Madam:
I would like to apply for the open position. I have recently graduated
with a MSM and held a sales position with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield
since October of 2006 to April of 2009. I started as an assistant for an
agent and helped him sell 1,145 contracts. Since then, the agent has left
and moved on to become the manager of the entire state of Nevada. I
mention this because it demonstrates that I have been trained under
exceptional management. I was also been promoted to a Sr. Sales Agent for
the states of Indiana and Kentucky. I am anxious to apply what I have
learned and experienced to the human resource field. Please allow me a
moment of your time to earn your consideration for this position.
I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration,
with an emphasis in Human Resources and Management. I have also finished a
Masters of Science Management degree from Oakland City University. My
educational experience has taught me the effective business skills of
today's market as well as the recent human resource management techniques.
I also have a passion for motivating others; this enables my ability to
lead. My beliefs are parallel to Charles Reade's quote, "Sow an act and
you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap character; sow character and you
reap a destiny." I want to be a part of that process. I believe that
employees are a vital part of business and the must not be forgotten. This
is the practice that I intend to execute. I understand how valuable the
employee is.
