Maintenance and operations of Mining and Milling, Pulp and Paper Facility, Heavy Industrial

settings, responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing workers engaged in the

maintenance and operations of equipment and facilities.

Excellent knowledge of the theory and principles of operation of components, systems, sub

systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and identify and implement

appropriate remedial action to put malfunctioning equipment and facilities back into action

Performed duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and put forth similar effort in pushing, pulling,

turning, and positioning parts, assemblies, equipment and tools. Able to lift heavier objects with

Able to operate heavy equipment, 988 Cat loader, D4 Cat, Backhoe, Bobcat, Dump truck, other

equipment in performance with my duties and be responsible for the safe operation. Comply with

all State, Federal, Reclamation, and municipal laws.

Able to use all tools of the Journeyman trade qualifications, to successfully complete work in a

safe and proficient manner associated with Heavy Industrial settings.

Test systems or fixtures using blueprints, repairing manuals, service information, schematics

drawings, work orders.

Adhere to all company safety procedures, Lockout Tag out, Confined Space, all PPE

Requirements, Fall Restraint, SOPs, and all other clearance practices.

Equipment and generator outages, wrote job plans for major outages, and used this information

on equipment rebuilds. Have also wrote lock out/tag out procedures. Identifying power source,

valving, stored power source, tracing of lines, chemical, steam, air source, confined space

permits, hot work permits, air checks, confirming that proper isolation procedures were followed

according to OSHA.

maintenance methods to improve plant operations.

facility.

driven turbines, wood handling systems, pulping process, and Pulp and Paper machines, utilities,

sewage treatment, ash systems, classifiers, 5000 rpm. turbine driven fan for boilers Induced Draft

Fans, Forced Draft Fans.

Working Journeymen Millwright 1989/2006

Shift Millwright/Millwright, duties included but not limited to, Preventative Maintenance,

training Apprentices, Fire protection systems, Emergency Response Team Responder, Lock Out

Tag Out. Conferred with Shift operation Foreman to keep the mill running at its peak

performance with little to no down time. Responded to emergency calls on shift, replaced

defective parts on machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts, positioned,

aligned, or level machines, equipment, or structures. Repaired or replaced malfunctioning or

warn mechanical components using hand and power tools. Use of precision measuring devices

dial indicator, micrometers, depth gauge, inside micrometers, in repairing of industrial or heavy

equipment. Troubleshooting and reading of blueprints and schematics, manuals, on electrical

controls, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment. Rebuilding of pumps, gearboxes, steam turbines,

valves, generator sets, coolers, oil system. Perform general mechanical equipment maintenance.

Duties include identification and correction of problems causing mechanical equipment

malfunctions, as well as performing periodic and unscheduled maintenance/repair of equipment

common to heavy industrial facilities. Such equipment includes but is not limited to turbines up

to 5000 rpm, Steam driven generators, governors, compressors, intake hoist equipment,

pneumatic devices, sewage and water treatment facilities, hydraulic equipment, etc. In

performance of crane and hoisting equipment maintenance, operate crane and hoist. Perform

machine work of varying degree of difficulty and exactness. Operate shapers, milling machines,

lathes, drill presses, grinders, sheet metal shaping, cutting machines, Heat treat metals before or

after hand or machine shaping operations, and maintains metal working equipment and

accessories. Operation of live-boom hoisting equipment, perform welding, acetylene, and

rigging.
