Dell Inc. Manufacturing, Winston-Salem, NC (7/05-Present) / Operations Manager I

Coordinate Factory output through multiple departments to maximize customer experience. Managed both

Boxing Department and Distribution Center. Boxing area consisted of leading a team of 40+ associates to

meet daily production goals of 6K units a day with ability to burst capacity levels as needed. Distribution

Center included managing inbound and outbound flow through IONetwork and Warehouse Management

Systems. Managed domestic and international shipping through multiple carriers. Led and trained teams on

BOLs, & various shipping applications while working with multiple teams such as internal and external

for 5 years also. Responsible for 14 assembly associates, while working on Core Teams with Engineers and

Managers to measure daily output, and efficiency. Scheduled, and planned as required. Maintain production

levels by limiting scrap, & maximizing productivity, quality, & attainment. Coached, lead and developed

associates to higher skill level positions while maintaining area metrics for multiple departments. Lead several

projects, business deployments and factory new capability projects as systems where launched to maintain real

time production and factory reliability.

• Co-Lead for Inventory Control Standard Work Kaizen: Affecting 10+ vendors and develop standardized

compliance audits/reporting document control resulting in improving equipment repairs by 50%..

• Kaizen member for team implementing Real Time production Software resulting in 35% productivity

improvement.

• Responsible for development and implementation of IWS/Lean manufacturing in production areas to

meet velocity, quality, headcount, culture and cost objectives. Increasing productivity by 35%.

• Lead initiative for Reliability System installation for P&G Distribution Center. Installation project

surpassed budget expectations by over one million dollars. Project consisted of cross functional teams

including engineers, maintenance, vendors and contractors.
