Insinger Machine Company Philadelphia, PA 2008 to

Present

A $10 million commercial dishwasher manufacturer and product service

provider with 60 employees.

Manufacturing Process Engineer/Plant Manager

Responsible for identifying and implementing product changes to reduce

assembly time, improve quality and ease of assembly, and reduce cost

while leading daily plant operations.

. Implemented Lean Manufacturing principles such as 6S and Kanban to

improve inventory control and workplace organization, allowing the

assembly workers to spend their time on value-added work instead

of searching for their components, saving each operator

approximately two hours per machine.

. Updated machine assembly timetables and created a production

schedule improving on-time shipping by 100% and reducing expedited

shipping costs.

. Identified and eliminated non-value added operations in the

assembly process by making process changes and better utilizing

existing technology.

. Developed a bill-of-material system to more accurately track the

Coordinated the integration of new model vehicles and options into the

existing production lines while improving quality and productivity by

1 HPU.

. Successfully launched 2007-2009 model years Expedition and

Navigator vehicles at the Michigan Truck Plant while meeting

manpower requirements.

. Led teams that procured assembly tooling required to incorporate

parts and processes related to integrating new model vehicles into

existing production lines.

. Created cycle line layout drawings for the final assembly

department and utilized them to define a scope of work for

shutdown remodeling of the assembly lines prior to the new model

components in upcoming product models to correct quality problems
