Construction Project Manager 2008 - 2009

URS Washington / EPD Division, Uranium Enrichment - New Mexico

Construction Project Manager for the United Research Services/Engineered Products Division of the

Uranium Enrichment Project. Responsible for overseeing 140 employees.

Managed the construction of a $300 Mil Uranium Enrichment Facility for the Louisiana Energy

Service (LES) in Eunice, New Mexico.

Worked in a first time environment, Nuclear Metals Manufacture, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, a true

NAQL1 on the structural side, comparable to nuclear containment materials.

Managed and directed structural engineering for the CRDB (centrifuge radioactive debris building)

structure. Reviewed and implemented all super structure design changes. Installed subcontractors,

reviewed and evaluated proposals; negotiated change orders, payment/invoice evaluations and

approval; scheduled and processed tracking, analysis, and coordination of submittal reviews and

approvals.

Onsite Nuclear Structural Engineer 2008

Parsons Construction Project - Aiken, South Carolina

Developed a new $900 Million nuclear waste processing facility for the U.S. Department of Energy

(DOE) at its Savannah River Site (SRS). Managed a team of 35 professionals.

Processed and reviewed all vendor, shop, and preliminarily engineered drawings.

Administered construction contracts, managed claims, disputes, negotiations, progress tracking,

analysis awards, and reviewed and implemented all NAQL1.

Change Notifications), RFI’s, and ensured that drawings comply with DOE standards.

administering subcontract agreements. Scheduled material deliveries and labor force. Reviewed submittals,

Strategic Hotels – Intercontinental Hotel, Miami, Florida

Managed $8.3 Mil renovation of Hotel Intercontinental 15,000 sf spa. Administered several hundred

subcontracts. Reviewed submittals and shop drawings for compliance. Conducted onsite meetings with hotel

in order to orchestrate onsite activities. Managed the construction of core areas: locker rooms, electrical

rooms, telephone rooms, mechanical rooms, therapy rooms, weight room, sauna / steam room, common

areas, hotel integrated security systems, and the VTC (Video-Teleconferencing Center). Facilitated the

completion of the $564,000.00 replacement of chiller and boiler lines.

Managed and built $51.2 Mil combined turn-key, foreign & domestic alternative energy, commercial

construction and hospitality renovations.

$1.9 Mil, 1,800 acre, campground facility. Supervised 30 employees in the creation of a desert,

engineering on the design of park, cabana, and equipment.
