. Launched efforts to increase efficiency and reduced scrap by $33,000.
Redesigned fabric forming tool and cutting die to reduce fabric
stress.
. Substantially improved on-time delivery by developing a rubber slurry
dip for adhesive on the fabric. Outcome: eliminated high scrap rate
and improved customer service.
. Reduced errors and eliminated confusion on aircraft parts by
converting written instructions into a combination of written and
visual assembly instructions. Incorporated labeling of parts and
digital images.
Freudenberg-NOK, Manchester, NH

process changes that would allow them to be manufactured more easily
and at improved yields.
. Came up with new process and tooling that saved 25% in raw material
costs for a very expensive coated fabric. New tooling payback in nine
months.
. When tasked with devising a method to obtain much quicker tool changes
