Re: Application For Design Engineer
I am writing to express my interest in working as a design engineer
with your firm, in response to a job posting on Resume Book. Many of the
requirements listed are a part of my working experience. It varies from
working in the team environment of a small family business, to self-
employment, to working on a team in a corporate environment. Since my
college years, I have worked to develop solutions in all stages, from
gathering information during initial contact with customers to
installation, start-up and training on finished product. You've listed
experience with Pro-Engineer & Intralink software as part of your
requirements. I do not have experience in these, however I would welcome
arrangements to train on them while making your investment worthwhile. I
have been familiarized with the parametric design concept that Pro-Engineer
uses in my initial training on Solidworks and have produced O&M manuals and
parts lists using MS word programs and Adobe Professional.
I ask you for the opportunity to create and design appliances
utilizing my design and hand's-on practical experience of building
equipment. Thank you for considering my application.
Sincerely,
Stephen G. Welk
