Multi-million dollar Los Gatos, CA based company with a diverse portfolio
of business units. Leaders in the hex key business in the hardware/home
center channel, distribution and 3rd party logistics business, consultant
for high-tech industry clients, and produced special effects for the movie
industry.
Vice President Program Management Anderson, SC
Reported directly to the President and CFO to develop new products,
search out new distribution channel opportunities, and manage
relationships and strategic sourcing with Asian manufacturers.
. Developed relationships with key disciplines within Home Depot
and Lowe's allowing us to launch new products more efficiently

Worked directly with the Sr. VP of Sales and Product Development and
the President to maintain and grow business in our current categories,
while continuously working on strategies to gain business in
categories outside of the tool corrals. Directly involved in one of
the most successful power tool launches in history; the RIDGID power
tool launch at The Home Depot.
. Grew Accessory business from $3m in annual sales to $75m in
annual sales and built a staff to support this growth.
. 2004 found and negotiated the rights to a patent which we used
to launch the AirGrip Laser Level. Generated an incremental
$30m in sales and won Innovation of the Year Award with The Home
Depot.
. Developed line of reverse and forward compatible accessories for
the new RIDGID tools.
. Directly involved in product and pricing negotiations with Asian
manufacturers which improved our quality, time-to-market, and
profit margins

Development. Created strategies to capitalize on the profitable power
tool accessory business for TTI.
. Managed the existing accessory business for the Sears account
and re-directed focus to create a line of Ryobi and RIDGID brand
accessories to profit from our strong relationship with The Home
Depot and strong brand position of Ryobi power tools.
. Responsible for sourcing of accessories for our newly acquired
John Deere/Homelite outdoor power equipment business.

our OEM partners such as; Makita, Hitachi, Stihl, Echo, Poulan,
Leatherman, Gerber and others.

the corporate objectives and our OEM customers' needs.
