Introduction:
I have worked on Datacommunications/ Telecommunications, Electronics
Repair, Networking, Computer Repair, Card Access systems, Burglar Alarm
System, Intercom Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, TV's, VCR's, CCTV, Gate
Access Systems, Bio Medical Repair, networking, Power supplies, Battery
Backup systems, Ringing Generators, Inverters, most power devices from AT&T
to Vortex systems, Customer interface, and Inventory Management Control.
I'm looking for a job that will challenge my knowledge. I'm a self
motivator and can work any hours that is requested of me. I have done
work for companies like GTE, Precision Communications Inc, Verizon
Communcations and CTDI. I have been a Vendor repair for them for many
years. This meet receiving equipment in loging the equipment into
inventory, Repairing the equipment and packing and shipping the equipment
back to the customer. Often giving the customer dates of to when the
equipment was to be at their location. I have been to the best schools that
AT&T has to offer. I have had over 20 employee's and had to trained them
all to do their jobs.
Work Experience:
1980-1981 Hayes International Aircraft Birmingham, Alabama
After taking test was hired in as supervisor over parts and
inventory management.
To make sure that all request for material meet company policies
per contract job.
1982-1986 Computer Service / Computer control Huston,Texas worked up to
( field service Supervisor). Keeping up with all work orders and making
sure parts were at job locations. I setup the company procedures of
operations for this company.
1987-1988 Audio Electronics Bio Medical Repair Huston, Texas Worked up to
( head bench Tech). Component repair of Middle Ear Analyzers, Beltone
hearing devices, Brain Scan equipment. Writing programs to interface with
equipment and customers.
1989-1990 Teletype Bench Repair Tech Birmingham, Alabama worked
up to main board repair tech.
1991-1994 AT&T DSO Group Bench repair for Datacommunitations
Birmingham Alabama.
1994-2001 Datatype Owned company Data/Telecommunications Repair
Cullman, Jasper, Alabama. Setup all inventory programs for tracking stock
and ordering parts as needed. Trained employees for both warehouse task and
repair tech.
2001-2006 Communications Hardware answered to owner Charlie Ford only tech
support repair Dallas, Texas. Supervisor of tech support, repair of
Data/Telecommunications equipment. Finding part on-line and ordering them
for repair personal. Setup test procedures for new equipment and
procedures, repaired computers, and networking systems. Customer interface
on all orders and giving dates of shipping of equipment .
2007- I.D.C.I Own company now but because of fire and lost
build and inventory. Was owner repair of Data/Telecommunications Equipment.
Inventory control of all customer equipment. Ordering all parts needed for
job. Shipping and tracking of parts,customers equipment and customer
interface to ensure them of equipment arrival.
2207-2009 I have worked with most all Charity Bingo places in my home
county.
Doing cat5 run, repairing computers, Servers/ networking CCTV systems,
Card Access Systems, Alarm hold up systems and door entry systems.

CCTV System, put in door access systems, built all computer servers.

T-Staff ( Contractor with ADC Telecommunications) Installing CO equipment
for
AT&T/ Bellsouth.
I have been working in a shop in the back of my house for the last year.
After the lost of 20,000 square feet of Inventory, test Equipment, Power
supplies, Etc. its been hard to get back started in some areas.

I wish now to work for a good company that can offer me a challenge for my
knowledge. I've been to many schools with AT&T and I went to Bevill State
College many years ago in Electronics. I was on the Dean's list 7 out of 8
quarters. I have always strived to be the best in my field. I have managed
a business with several employees and can do so for you if needed. I follow
orders well, better than most.
I only wish to add my skills and knowledge, experience to you in anyway
that can benefit us both. I can distribute assignments to other people if
needed.I look foward to hearing back from you and hope that together we can
make a great team.
I can use most all computer programs ( MS-Dos, Basic programming, chip
level programming index, direct, subroutines, and nested routines, Word,
Works, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, Explorer, Access and many more. I'm
a self motivator that can make decisions but also understand that company
procedures must be followed.
