Experience Profile

2001-till date

Now working in an NGO called Kerala Agricultural Development Society

mainly promoting organic farming and as a Consultant in the export of

quality farm products both processed and semi processed food items

like cocoa beans to Switzerland and spices to Europe. Highly

experienced in the preparation and implementation of various spices

like pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, clove, ginger etc in the state of

Kerala. At present an organic project focusing on spices is being

implemented in Idukki district in Kerala with the help of Spices

Board and Department of Agriculture. Micro Finance and promoting

Micro Enterprises through Self-help Groups among the farming

communities is also a focused area. Other supporting services like

social security insurance, banking projects preparation, marketing of

farm produce etc are also extended. Also serving as a guest faculty

to many training centers of Banks and NGOs in India.

Also provide consultation services in organic certification and fair

trading of farm produce including microfinance particularly

conforming to the international norms/IFOAM standards.

Actively involved in the empowerment process of women engaged in

agriculture mainly in organic farming.

training and implementing of development projects in India

1998-2001

Senior Manager (Agriculture) in International Bank- Bank Of Baroda in

India and became the Province Head of the bank wherein the nature of

work was co-ordination of development project works of various

departments both Government and non-Government agencies connected

with the implementation of agriculture and rural development plan.

Advances, Farm Credit and Rural Credit, Public relations etc.

Obtained wide experience in marketing and other extension services in

the area of agricultural banking and farm products trading/marketing.
