Summary of Qualifications and Experience:
Three years’ experience as a Machinist and Quality Control Technician in a Pipe Line and
Valve Manufacturing Facility. Skills used included Blue Print and Profiles reading used
in a machine shop to insure the completion of parts correctly, the manufacturing of
machined parts. The Use and working knowledge of machine shop tools used for
measurement in detailed parts.
Three years’ experience as a Detail and layout technician in highway structural steel
manufacturing facility. Duties included using shop prints to mark check and check 30 ton
Highway girders to insure proper length, plate placements, rebar placement and details,
and whole locations as instructions for welders. Pre- assembly of Highway bridge spans
before shipment to insure camber and all other dimension were correct using survey
equipment and tripod.
Three years’ experience in a structural manufacturing facility. Skills used included
blueprint and shop print reading to locate and identify parts such as I-beams, channel
beams, flat bar, and plates by material and size using shop measuring devices such as
calipers, micrometer, scales, tape measures and rulers then to lay-out and do detail work
on each item as indicated on shop prints to insure the completion of such items
correctly.
Three years’ experience as plastic extrusion operator in a plastics manufacturing facility.
Duties and skills included the setup of machines to manufacture plastic fence parts
correctly. Then the operation of such machinery insuring that all parts were completed as
indicated on the parts profile making adjustments to machines and program as needed to
insure the same. The use of measuring devices such as gages, micrometers, and adjusting
machine setting as needed. Shut down and set up of machine as needed for parts
changes, to insure proper quality control. Also did setup and adjustments and repairs
to all equipment in the extruder such as down stream, puller, saw, dye, barrel heater .
