handling, self defense, and more. I asked to be removed from this project
after receiving several threats upon my life if I continued to work with

May 2005 - August 2005, Translator, Special Investigator General for Iraq
Reconstruction (SIGIR), U.S. Embassy, Baghdad. Translated many sensitive
documents relating to fraud, waste and abuse committed during the Iraqi
Reconstruction Project. Arranged meetings between Iraqi government
officials and representatives from my office, and then translated or
transcribed the proceedings. Many times I was required to travel to
dangerous areas of Baghdad to meet witnesses or government representatives

December 2004 - May 2005, Translator, Kellogg, Brown and Root, Central
Criminal Court, Multi-National Forces-Iraq, U.S. Embassy, Baghdad.
Reviewed and translated criminal court hearings and legal proceedings as
prepared by the court staff. Performed simultaneous translation during
court proceedings to American staff. The mission of the court is to deal
with serious criminal offenses that most directly threaten the security and
civil order of Iraq. This position was highly sensitive and required the

military unit. Accompanied military patrols and they conducted house-to-
house security sweeps of different areas throughout Baghdad. This was a
very dangerous job and I received several death threats during my

April 2003 - July 2003, Translator/Local Guide, Headquarters and
Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry (Special Forces),
Baghdad, Iraq. Led U.S. Army Special Forces teams to well-known military
officials of the Republican Guard. Assisted them in interrogations and
finding and confiscating contraband weapons and explosives. During my
employment, I was asked to be part of a National Geographic Documentary
entitled, "Inside Special Forces," which told the story of the first days
