Career Path

I have nearly six full academic years of teaching experience in

addition to five complete summer school sessions. I have received Advanced

and Exceptional ratings in my Professional Development Appraisals

throughout the years through formal observations by my principal. I take

part in ongoing Professional Development opportunities in our school

district. Last year I served in the capacity of Mentor for a newly hired

math teacher at our school. Extra duties I have shouldered include

Educational Technology Resource Coordinator for the campus for 2 years,

Math Department Chair for 3 years, and Site Director for credit recovery

programs for our students who are behind in their high school credits.

I grew up in Dhahran and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia (Pre-K through 9th

grade). I started teaching in Texas when I was 26. Year after year I have

found my enthusiasm, competency, and professionalism growing as a teacher.

It would give me no greater pleasure than to be able to give back to the

wonderful communities in KSA that helped raise and shape me. I look

forward to being able to interview for and teach in Aramco schools.
