Serve on the America’s Great Outdoors Steering Committee

Helped author the Chesapeake Bay Executive Order Strategy, a plan that commits agencies to reach

short- and long-term ecosystem restoration goals

Represent the Assistant Secretary of the Army on the Chesapeake Federal Office Directors Board

(FOD) to coordinate interagency efforts to restore the Chesapeake Bay

Lead policy and legislative action officer for the East Coast and the Great Lakes

Army Civil Works policy lead for three areas of geographical significance (as established by the

Obama administration) to restore ecosystems-- Chesapeake Bay, Great Lakes, and Everglades

Successfully brief the Assistant Secretary of the Army on policy issues and effectively resolve issues

Served on the Estuary Restoration Act council work group and invested $25 million to collaboratively

restore estuaries across the country
