sister plants using the kanban method.

training status and a plan to ensure every position in the materials team

. Reduced on hand inventory from 2.9 Million on April 1st to 2.46

million on June 31st by implementing a multi-card Kanban system.

inventory control, and material movement.

. I was responsible for the rebuilding of the inventory SOP that

included receiving, pulling, issuing, and rejecting NCM.

. Was responsible for negotiating 7 contracts that netted a total PPV of

average 38% per shipment for domestic trips.

purchasing department.

. Participated in two Material workshops, (Plastics & Metals) where

workshop objectives were to consolidate vendors and to receive a cost

savings of up to 25%.

. Coordinated with plant product supervisors in ordering and expediting

parts for their perspective areas.

. Worked to reduce Vendor base, by eliminating vendors that had poor

quality, poor on time delivery, and unfavorable pricing for parts

purchased.
