Aug 2008-Jan 2009
Central Cold Storage & LTS Logistics LLC
1400 Gregory St. North Little Rock AR.72114
Facilities/Refrigeration Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities were to maintain a 82,000 sq. ft. & 68,000 sq. ft. freezers and two 225,000 sq. ft
dry warehouses. Total building maintenance & repair. Freezer warehouses are totally computer
controlled. Maintained a fleet of 42 forklifts. Created a pm process for all maintenance items.
Was responsible for tracking parts and labor. Purchased all necessary parts to maintain all
the equipment. Supervised the maintenance technicians and temporary help for all the
warehouses. This position was held until January 2008 when LTS Logistics decided to shut
down their freezer operation.
Reason for shut down – Conagra Foods was 75% of our business and in Nov.2007, Conagra
Foods had a freight issue with Navaho Trucking that shuttled product from Little Rock, AR. to
Russellville AR. that they could not resolve so Conagra pulled their product out of the freezer
and moved it to Zero Mountain in Russellville, AR. With that much of a customer loss, we could
not stay in business.
Accomplishments - I was responsible for saving several thousands of dollars per month on
electric usage by running off peak hours and out of all LTS Logistics branches, this freezer
operation was the most profitable.
