Nov. 2007 - Present - Deputy Maintenance Manager, Westinghouse Anniston
Chemical Agent Disposal Facility - Responsible for managing the maintenance
department of a multi-million dollar chemical weapon disposal facility.
Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager and the Operations
Manager in the planning and preparation of maintenance schedules including:
evaluating man-power resources, material/parts availability for input into
the production and outage schedules, establishing maintenance priorities
and implementation of changes that affect plant/system configuration.
Assists in the selection and development of qualified maintenance personnel
to plan and execute the ANCDF maintenance tasks. Responsible for directing
and coordinating the installation and maintenance of the Mine machine (M23
VX land mines). Managed a 1.2 Million Dollar Robot upgrade that included
systemization and testing that completed under budget and under schedule.
Develops, directs, and initiates all test plans and reports required for
the performance of maintenance activities on plant systems and equipment.
Initiated a "Lean Maintenance" program to reduce the amount of waste by
eliminating preventive maintenance activities that added no value and had
no effect on reliability of the equipment. The environmental impact was
significant and resulted in being selected to make a presentation at a
Maintenance conference. Presented "Maintenance and Operations impact to
schedule" at the Solutions 2.0 Maintenance Reliability Conference in
December 2010 (Bonita Springs, FL). Schedules, coordinates and assists
vendors in performing maintenance tasks required for maintenance
activities. Responsible for managing and coordinating the installation of
the modifications to the Bulk Drain Station that resulted in completion of
the Ton Container campaign under schedule. Responsible for coordinating
the removal of contaminated equipment and execution of the closure
schedule. Over 16 years experience in working under the confines of a
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) with no environmental
violations or issues.

2007 - Training Specialist - Responsible for developing the training
procedures and courses in order to train the work force to operate a
chemical weapons disposal project in Libya. Developed the safety training
program as well as the preventive maintenance procedures for all equipment
in the facility.
2005- 2007 Systemization Engineer, Russian Chemical Weapons Demil Project
Responsible for overseeing the systemization of equipment and processes at
a chemical weapons facility. Served as Acting Lead Systemization Engineer.
Duties include developing a systemization schedule, estimating costs for
materials, writing reports, writing maintenance procedures and providing
technical support. Proficient in using CMMS and responsible for loading
procedures and drawings into CMMS for use in the future.

A Shift Engineer responsible for coordinating all Sub-contractor work to
ensure that Engineering Change Proposal's are completed on schedule and in
accordance with procedure. Provided training and engineering support for
the maintenance and operations of a Chemical Demil Facility. Served as the
Engineering Department Representative during the night shift and when the
cognizant engineers were not available to make decisions on their systems.
2003 - 2004 Mechanical Team Lead, Westinghouse Anniston Chemical Agent
Disposal System,
Managed job assignments for all maintenance work in the mechanical shop,
providing plant technical support, troubleshooting, on the job training,
and ensuring all work was accomplished safely and in a timely manner.
Responsible for supervising a crew of 11 men to maintain the Chemical
Weapons Disposal Facility.
2002 - 2003 Maintenance Planner, Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal
System (JACADS)
Planned all work (closure and maintenance) for a Chemical Weapons Disposal
Facility. Duties include entering the status of work into the Total
Resource Allocation and Control (TRAC) database, generating preventive
maintenance procedures, planning and estimating man-hours to complete work
orders, ordering of parts, updating the status of work orders and assisting
in the development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP's).

Developed procedures for operations, maintenance and closure. Developed the
first operations and maintenance procedures for a new Carbon Micronization
(Filter Charcoal incineration) process.

Developed and implemented the training programs for all new personnel
(Maintenance and Operations) and the continuing training of all personnel.

Maintained and repaired all plant equipment including: Demilitarization
equipment, robotics, hydraulics, air-conditioning equipment, pneumatic
systems, all piping, conveyors, furnaces, and support equipment.
Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and electrical/electronic
troubleshooting. Certified by the EPA (Universal) to handle refrigerant
and trained in the operation of all types of air-conditioning units. Served
on the Hazardous Emergency Response (HAZMAT) Team at the facility.

filtration and reverse osmosis machines, pumps, a submerged combustion

As a Engineering Watch Supervisor was responsible for the operation and
maintenance of nuclear reactor fluid and support systems. Experience
includes: Steam Generator Inspections, Primary Plant Hydrostatic Testing,
Primary Relief Valve testing, de-fueling of the reactor, setting plant
conditions for de-fueling, and all phases repair to the steam plant,
hydraulics and support equipment, normal operations and special evolutions.
