Objective
I am looking to obtain a lead or supervisory mid-level management position in a distribution facility or light
industrial warehouse setting in the San Antonio area. Where I can use my experience and skills to grow with that
company personally and professionally.
Experience
02/02/2004 to Present
Calendar Club L.L.C. Austin, Texas
Shipping/Receiving Lead
Shipping duties include the preparation and shipping of all outbound merchandise and fixtures. The
shipments are shipped to Specialty Retail Ventures (SRV) stores, Wholesale and Web customers.
Shipped on FTL’s, LTL’s and small parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEX, DHL, etc.
Continual training of Seasonal and Temporary staff is one of the more challenging duties I perform as a
Shipping Lead, since The Calendar Club is seasonal retail.
Receiving duties include off-loading of all inbound shipments. International containers, FTL’s, LTL’s
and small parcel carriers like UPS, FedEX, DHL, etc. off-loaded within a set time frame as to not add
any additional retention fees or overage charges. I also account for discrepancies and complete all
inbound documentation (DR) delivery receipts, packing slips, invoices, etc. Other duties include
coordinating with the Traffic Department to schedule loads and tracking international shipments
through a web based appointment log.
