Responsibilities: Assisted a Master's Degree student in the collection and analysis of field data from the project.
Achievements: Inter-American University of Puerto Rico Metropolitan Campus 2006, founding member and Vocal of
the new Microbiology Association of Students of I.U.P.R. This revived the long lost organization of this branch of
biology. The group brought back interest in micro biology in the university, causing larger groups of students to get
interested in microbiology again, thus opening more classes in the Natural Science Department of said campus. The
group also helped in a lot of fundraising for special causes, raising these funds to help organizations such as the Red
Cross and foster homes among others.
