In the department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Garyounis

University,Benghazi,Libya. I have been assigned to supervise many post

graduate and undergraduate research projects. The following projects had

been successfully completed under my supervision.

1. Study of biliary and serum Lipid profile in patients with Gallstones.

2. Quantitative analysis of Gallstones.

3. Study of Uric acid acid in Hypertension among Libyan population.

4. Study of Lipid profile in hypertension in Libyans.

5. Study of Lipid Profile in patients under treatment with Glibenclamide

and Metformin.

6. Changes of uric acid levels in patients receiving tranquilizers.

7. Effect of Piperine extract over biochemical parameters in non-

transgenic mice.

Below project was funded by NASR,Government of Libya to the department of

Biochemistry,Garyounis university during the year 2010.

This is non-funding project started as dessertation topic to one of

the postgraduate student Nmaed Mona.I was guiding her in this topic

started.We have taken group of mice Fed with High fat diet and

Piperince exctract derived from Piper Nigrum plant for 3 weeks and

observed change in biochemical parameters.

of Gallstones after Cholecystectomy and performed chemical analysis of

removed gallstones.Analysis of biochemical parameters of bile and

serum simultaneously.

Serum Uric Acid Levels as an adjunct in the assessment of certain

Psychiatric Disorders in Libya.
