Responsible for managing a $13M + contract that provides Information Technology Systems Security
Services to the FAA. Primarily supported the management of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A)
lifecycle for up to 24 systems in the FAA Air Traffic Operations organization. In addition, supported the
remediation of action items established in the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for each system.
Developed plans for establishing a comprehensive Information Systems Security (ISS) program, and
supported implementation of those plans. Provided the necessary management, la bor, facilities, materials,
equipment and data to perform contract requirements. Familiar with FIPS 199 and the NIST 800 standard
publications, including the NIST-800-53, rev 3 control requirements, and the 800 -37 Risk Management
Framework.
Hired to turnaround a failing program. Within 6 months improved the customer relationship and team
morale, improved performance, and reduced program management costs. In addition, increased revenue by
3% the first year.
Received the ‘Medallion of Excellence Award” for sustained superior performance in 2010 and 2011 and
