TOYOTA HILUX- D CAB (VIGO CHAMP) and TOYOTA HILUX SUV (FORTUNER)

Following Project Preparation Activities were performed for above projects

during my period in IMC

Perform Quality Evaluation Activities during SKK, 1A, MPTA as per schedule

Studied Local Part Dwg, PIS and evaluated locally developed parts

Study CPL and segregate common local parts between B Cab and D Cab

Confirm the current OK rate of Common parts of B Cab and made plan for level up

the accuracy rate where required

Coordinated with Product Development regarding part related issues and requested

production engineering to issue ECIs where required.

Worked with the Anzen Japan for Setting the Tester Line Parameters

Updated the TVECS Software for Evaluation

Studied the Wire-harness design on a CBU SUV and proposed a re-designing for

back camera compatibility

Small Projects

TOYOTA COROLLA Navigation & Back Camera introduction

Evaluated different audio systems with NAVIGATION Software compatibility and

developed check sheet for judgment

Conducted a road test to ensure GPS coverage (map detail)

Coordinated with TMAP regarding back camera Quality Standards for reference.

Designed and support manufacturing of the vibration test bench for durability

confirmation of back camera. Also designed the jig for camera installation and

GPS antenna fitment

Confirm Back Camera and Navigation according to Toyota Inspection Standard

US Embassy Fleet & Pakistan Army Orders

Study Project Specs and prepare change point details

Prepare Main Quality KPI and made one voice for all the stakeholders

Lead this Project with a team of two engineers and two team leaders, conducted

root-cause analysis, electrical function check, also held meetings at the end of

the day to ensure the target been achieved (daily)

Worked at supplier's facility to design and confirm local drawings for unique

parts. Also evaluated the parts at vendor facility before making the proto

vehicle.

Other Activities

Worked on Toyota HILUX SURF (D-Cab) and Toyota HILUX GRAND CABIN (B-Cab) project

Evaluated the exhaust pipe (new catalytic convertor) for EURO-II compliance

Presented weekly quality (project) updates in Obeya meetings. Updated a "project

update" board daily for inter-department presentations
