Supervised plant machine and automation operations in the production of

acoustic noise reduction goods for top motor vehicle manufacturers, e.g.,

GM, Nissan, Ford, Chrysler. Identified production problems and implemented

solutions that improved productivity and product quality, and ultimately

reduced costs. Implemented maintenance prevention program to improve

safety, ensure effective production machine operation and avoid mid-

. Designed new punch die ring with die inserts to replace existing die

ring damaged due to press misalignment during installation. Trained

maintenance personnel to ensure proper alignment on installation thus

eliminating the problem and realizing a cost savings of $9,000, as well

as the cost of eight days downtime saved by not sending the tool out

for repair.

. Trained maintenance personnel to harden teeth on 3-D die cut cutter

press to eliminate teeth from bending and destroying aluminum mold

. Added maintenance ladders on presses to access hydraulics on top of
