Role Description :
SHC (Stanford hospitals and clinics) Was my primary project in Accenture where in my job
profile was to maintain and manage and configure network devices (cisco routers, switches, load
balancers, cisco firewall, checkpoint devices etc.) and to assist SHC employees, IT staff and
doctors with the daily network issues.
My primary skills are:-
1) I am a cisco certified (CCNA) and my primary area of skill is routing and switching. I
have worked on maintaining the cisco routers and switches and I can work on configuration
of cisco routers and switches including resolving trivial matters. I have worked on
improving the efficiency of the network. I have handled many issues involving different
technologies.
2) I have worked on the load balancers and issues revolving the cisco ASA and checkpoint
and Assisted SHC employees with opening of change requests following ITIL standards for
opening the port on the firewall.
3) I have a first-hand experience on BIG IP load balancer and the removal and configuration
of the pool members and virtual servers in the load balancer for load balancing the traffic.
4) My other skills include working on the Issues like ISP problems, vpn issues, connectivity
issues related to internet from within the network. I have worked on various problems
related to connectivity between data centres
5) My responsibilities in my previous projects were working on the incidents, creation of the
change requests, problem tickets properly documenting them and getting the approval for
the implementation and completion respectively in the ITSM tool as per the ITIL standards.
The other project I worked with involved working as a service desk support where I helped
Scottish power employees with the daily IT issues.
6) I have worked on the ITIL standards which includes Working on the ITSM tool and to
provide inputs on the tickets logged by SHC employees understanding them and
documenting trivial issues. And afterwards providing necessary steps for troubleshooting to
rectify the issues before the deadline.
