JOB DESCRIPTION:

SENIOR NEUROPHYSIOLOGY(EEG/NCV-EMG/EP) TECHNOLOGIST::

OBJECTIVE:

1. To render service to the patient with technical competence and

safety for them.

2. To give quality health care to the patient and holistic approach to

their family.

3. To promote and provide full clinical, theoretical and technical

aspects according to my capacity, knowledge and capabilities

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

4. Perform all Neurophysiology procedures such as routine EEG studies

for both adult and pediatrics, for both in and out patient.

5. Perform long EEG monitoring for ICU patient/ video EEG studies,

sleep deprived EEG studies.

6. Perform Nerve Conduction Study independently and assisting

Physician for EMG studies.

7. Perform Evoked potential studies such as Brainstem auditory and

Visual evoked potential studies for both adult and pediatrics.

8. Perform Doppler ultrasound studies for Neurological/Vascular cases

such as Carotid Doppler ultrasound, Peripheral arterial/venous

studies, Renal arterial doppler and transcranial doppler

ultrasound.

9. Perform and assist Vascular Surgeon in performing Radio frequency

ablation for veins.

10. Perform vein mapping for Great saphenous vein and vein studies.

11. Perform all clerical matter such as typing of official result,

releasing of result, filing of result and documentation.

12. Perform wet reading for Physician if necessary to all procedures.

13. Perform basic trouble shooting for the machine.
