Inspect fasteners to blue print specifications for 60 plus machines. Including Sacma’s, National’s, Formax Header’s, Formax Rollers, and Hartford’s. Fastener customers are Ford, GM, Chrysler, Bamal, NSK and many other’s. Layout parts on Starret HF600 Comparator, with Q.C. 4000 software. Acid edged parts for grain flows, cold shots, and threaded laps. Rockwell hardness test to check the core and surface of the parts. Also performed tensile test on finished parts. In charge of making dispositions on nonconforming material. Verified all employee’s micrometer’s and caliper’s monthly.

Inspect fastener products, gave 1st. piece approvals. Issued lot numbers.

Setup and verified tri-rolls, and set ring gages. Inventoried all gages with gagetrak software. Verified wire chemistry on spectrometer. Rockwell test, hydrogen imbrittelment testing, drive test, and torque tension test.

Inspected screw machine products to blue print specifications. With the use of micrometers, optical comparators, and digital indicators. Responsible for 1st. piece setups, updating all engineer print changes. Trained others on inspection procedures.

Inspected metal stampings and welds to print. Set control limits for S.P.C. charts (X & R Bar). Inventoried steel, issued lot numbers, files steel certifications. Rockwell hardness test on steel. Checked spot and mig welds with chisel guns, and torque wrenches.
