WORK EXPERIENCE
Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia-Buffalo, WV (June
1999~Present)
Maintenance Group Leader (Oct. 2006-present))
o Manage Maintenance Activity for ZR/GR Cam, Crank, Conrod, and
Piston Pin lines. Supervise 16 hourly maintenance team
members. Reasonable for all fascists of maintenance activity
for these 8 lines.
o Started up 478F GR Cam and Crank lines after model change,
achieved 90% operational availability.
o TPM system designed and implemented in these areas. Daily
maintenance task for all machines in these areas made (aka
Daily Maintenance Cards). Production T/M's reasonable for
checking and maintenance T/M's reasonable for auditing and
teaching if not correct.
o PM STW Project (Preventive Maintenance Standardization
Project)-Responsible for making and assigning PM's to new
global machines and standardizing older machine PM's.
Maintenance TPS implemented.
Maintenance Specialist/Project-Production Specialist (Dec. 2001-Oct.
2006)
o (Aug. ~ Oct. 2006), Controls Leader for 478F (New 3.5L 6
Cylinder Engine) Robotic Gantry Loader to Grinders Project.
Total project 1.5 Million dollar. Designed & programmed from
ABB IRB2400 robots to Grinder and conveyor PLC's. I/O
Communication completed through device net.
o (Dec 2004), Assigned to Automatic Transmission Plant for
special project support. Projects included AT
Reconstruction, 20M project. 407F Gear Project Automation
Engineer. Responsible for implementation of automation
equipment for greater quality control and labor cost
reduction.
o Responsible for maintenance budget of ZZ Cam, ZZ Crank, MZ
Cam, and MZ Crank. Approximately 3.5M dollars/yr.
o Analysis of machine performance and breakdowns to determine
problems. Countermeasures taken as needed to prevent
reoccurring breakdowns and short stoppages through
preventative maintenance and or design changes to machine(s).
o Kaizen implementation throughout the lines.
o Predictive Maintenance Program Implantation at Toyota, WV
Location. (2001-present).
o Spare parts recommendation for machines, and new machines
after installations.
o Program and troubleshoot PLC's, CNC, Robots, and Servo
Drives
o Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and
pneumatics systems
Skilled Maintenance Team Member/Leader (June 1999-Dec 2001)
o Manage daily maintenance activities of 5 team members on 2nd
shift for 6 (MZ) cylinder machining.
o Problem solving and supervising maintenance
o Program and troubleshoot PLC's, CNC, and Servo Drives
