Controller, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., Portland, OR 2003 - 2010
Responsible for all financial reporting, accounting and cost control
(including project analysis and evaluation), planning and analysis, cash
forecasting, internal controls and audit management for the US and Canadian
after-market division of the pump manufacturing operations (+ $200 million
in annual sales) of a global corporation providing specialized pumps to the
oil and gas, pulp and paper and hydro-carbon processing industries.
. Improved cost controls and job cost performance by more then $2 million
per year.
. Key role in the design and implementation of a new multi-currency ERP
system (SAP). Implemented process improvements in cost analysis and in
Accounts Receivable control and cash collections.
. Reviewed and documented internal controls and implemented an Internal
Control System for business unit.
