Controller, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., Portland, OR 2003 - 2010

Responsible for all financial reporting, accounting and cost control

(including project analysis and evaluation), planning and analysis, cash

forecasting, internal controls and audit management for the US and Canadian

after-market division of the pump manufacturing operations (+ $200 million

in annual sales) of a global corporation providing specialized pumps to the

oil and gas, pulp and paper and hydro-carbon processing industries.

. Improved cost controls and job cost performance by more then $2 million

per year.

. Key role in the design and implementation of a new multi-currency ERP

system (SAP). Implemented process improvements in cost analysis and in

Accounts Receivable control and cash collections.

. Reviewed and documented internal controls and implemented an Internal

Control System for business unit.

. Participated in several acquisition and integrations into the division.

Business Analyst, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., Portland, OR 2001- 2003

Responsible for development and preparation of internal financial reports

for the business division including evaluation of performance against

Responsible for developing Mid-range plans for the division. Participated

in due diligence for acquisitions and integration into the business.

. Developed three year business plans for all service centers and parts

processing centers that took the company through a growth phase from

phones and tooling purchases.

helped set annual targets, which monitors each service center and PPC

forecasts, and three month rolling forecasts, monthly journal entries, and

internal reporting for the largest region in the business division.

Responsible for preparation and filing Multi-State Sales & Use Tax returns

for all printed materials, was the main contact for all sales & use tax

audits, and trained sales staff on how to handle taxable customers.

. Reduced state audit assessment by 1 million for one audit.

Tax Accountant, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc., Portland, OR 1986 - 1991

Responsible for preparation and filing Multi-State Sales and Use Tax

returns for US operations. Handled Letters of Credit and Performance Bonds

concerning both US and International trade. Monthly journal entries and
