Warehouse / Outside Services Manager (1986 - 2009)
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations. Responsible for inventory control; warehouse delivery schedule;
hiring and scheduling warehouse personnel; material handling and movement; forklift fleet management
including equipment, training of personnel; forklift training and certification; managing trucking department
including truck purchases and repairs, hiring, supervising and scheduling truck drivers; driving truck and forklift
when necessary; managing outside service contracts with vendors (forklifts, forklift batteries and communication
equipment); coordinating outside building repair and maintenance; coordinating pallet program; preparing and
implementing budgets and data entry.
• Planned and coordinated the setup of a 240,000 square foot receiving warehouse which met storage
requirements and improved product movement.
• Implemented an address system within the warehouse which improved accuracy of inventory control to
99.8%.
• Cross-trained and provided backup support for shipping and distribution of product to customers.
• Successfully developed and implemented first in/first out program for savings in raw product disposal.

• Coordinated with Production Manager the efficient movement of product between facilities
which led to elimination of one driver position and savings in personnel costs.
