2008 -Present Maptek; Lakewood, CO
Provided consulting and training in Vulcan 3D modeling software
for clients in North America and abroad. Duties included: Basic
CAD design and modification, constructing and validating block
models, design analysis and financial optimization. Courses
Instructed: Introduction, Block Modeling, Underground Design,
iGantt Scheduling, Geotech, Database Management, Advanced
Triangulation Modeling. Received reviews above expectations.
Summer Rio-Tinto, Kennecott Utah Copper, Bingham Canyon Mine; Utah
2007 Geotechnical Engineering Internship. Duties included data
collection, validation and trouble-shooting, as part of the
continuous monitoring of the tailings impoundment. Assisted in:
installation of new instrumentation and data junction boxes,
cone penetration testing (CPT) and surveying locations for these
and other projects. Introduced new contractors to Kennecott
safety rules and regulations.
2005-2007 Fisher Sand and Gravel; Spearfish, SD
Inventory of Gravel Quarries, materials testing including: sieve
analysis, plasticity index and specific gravity and coordinating
of crews to ensure targets were met. Prospecting new mining
operations for future projects, use of GIS mapping software, for
reclamation and planning purposes. Assisted in scaling trucks
for tonnage reconciliation in coordination with DOT projects and
land owners. Received annual raises and trained new employees.

Mapping Noxious Weeds. Uploaded data into ArcView analysis
software; for budgeting, and planning for future control of
Noxious Weeds. Trained new-hires

Two positions held. First: Mailroom Manager. Managed operations
required of a newspaper including: scheduling, machine
maintenance, organization and mailing of over 50,000 products a
week. Second: Pressman. Operated Web-Press, printing all
products published. Received regular promotions and trained new
employees.
