Graphic / Industrial Designer

Worked with both display (temporary, semi and permanent) and packaging

design.

Developed display components from initial concepts, to prototypes and

all the way to production.

Coordinated with vendors and manufacturers including metal

fabricators, thermoformers, injection molding, wood fabricating and

model shops.

Created concept sketches and computer renderings of displays for P&G,

KAO Brands, Johnson and Johnson, Kraft, Nestle, Diagio, Chiquita etc.

Created presentations for perspective clients, forms for internal use

and developed artwork for preliminary designs.

Presented with POP Design of the Times award for the Chiquita Wave

Display

Familiar with printing processes (Digital, Litho, Flexo etc.) and set-

ups.

Ohio Army National Guard

09/1998 - 07/2007

Company Commander / Project Manager

Planned, coordinated and executed state regulated training for 200+

soldiers (in one year increments) in order to meet Ohio Army National

Guard required standards.

Managed the operations of 20 million dollars of state assigned

equipment - the most of any unit in the state of Ohio. This involved

constantly tracking the status of each piece and keeping it up to

standard.

Managed and maintained over 15 staff office positions.

Responsible for the combat readiness, health, welfare, morale, and

accountability of 40 soldiers, twenty plus vehicles, and associated

equipment valued in excess of $7,500,000 as a platoon leader while

stationed in Iraq in 2003 - 2004.

Developed presentations and communication pieces for higher command to

detail the accounts of my unit for the year.

My time in the military required me to have a strong attention to

detail. Most of the work was done on my own time, which required me to

be well organized. It also developed my problem solving skills due to

the fact that I was required to manage many tasks at the same time.
